Christmas activities

  • 1st December @ 3.15pm an afternoon of fun and activity including the start of the Posada journey. Please see Helen and Carol if you can help again – thanks
  • 3rd December – Christmas Fair starting at 10.30am. all money raised is going to help towards the cost of replacing church windows. Much help is required and please see Sharon. Sharon has also asked that each person in the congregation gives here one article relating to Christmas to be sold on the Christmas stall.
  • Christmas evening either 2nd or 9th December – date to be confirmed with Tom and Susan.
  • 18th December @ 6.30pm Carol Service.
  • 7th January – Late, Late Christmas quiz, 7pm for 7.30pm start.
  • Christmas charities

At church meeting it was agreed that the home charity would be the Foetal Assessment Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in which money is being raised to replace all the uncomfortable chairs in the waiting room.

The away charity is going to help restore sight to people with cataracts in Ghana. The exact name of the charity will be announced later.

 

The Alexandra hall is available to hire for long term lets or short events such as birthday parties. For more information contact the church secretary:
