Your Local Theatre group

Have you any acting experience?

 Yescome along, we need you!

Nocome along and we’ll help you learn!

Don’t want to act, but interested in helping backstage, learning about lights and sound, stage management, making props and costumes?

Come along—we need people for all these jobs!

Perhaps you don’t have time to get involved in learning a part, but could find time to help in some way. On the nights of performances the people who look after the door, sell programmes, make and serve the interval refreshments, etc. are just as important and necessary as the actors.

Why not give it a try?

In addition to our main productions, we also present informal evenings of sketches, extracts and one act plays, and meet for play readings and social events such as meals and theatre visits. In recent times we have also joined with other groups in joint ventures such as the Passion Play in Greenwich Park and ‘David Copperfield’ at the Tyler Theatre in Eltham. In 2005 Church members joined us to produce our first pantomime.

Our meeting nights are Wednesdays and Fridays at

8 pm. in the Alexandra Hall. We do not always meet on both nights, so check first.
